2015 gave me my first taste of an aquarium and started my journey of learning and experiencing freshwater and saltwater tanks and didn't take long for me to further my education into marine biology, water chemistry, and bacteria/algae after becoming so frustrated with following advise ABCD... I was inspired to gain more knowledge and understanding of processes happening or can happen which then led me into my next adventure. My first experience with copepods and phytoplankton came in 2017 when I was keeping a Seahorse and Mandarin goby dragonet. Once a month I would grab what grew and add it to my tanks for years without any issues. Even had the pleasures of having the seahorse give birth to thousands of babies! Unfortunately, this was bad timing since this event occurring during a Hurricane and power lost happen and lost everything...thankfully I kept growing food for the other tanks I owned at the time. 2020 Covid pandemic inspired me to share my home cultured live food with the local community to support my family and keep my reef tank alive during a time when "income" was uncertain. After quickly gaining local popularity from one of the local fish stores, I registered and got licensed to start expanding to other local fish stores and club/groups, then later in Nov. 2021 launch our first webstore to share with the country. 2023 marked a milestone of reaching every state in the US!
